All I can say is GREAT PRODUCT! I am Physical Therapy Doctor and an avid weight lifter. As a health practitioner, I highly recommend the grip power pads for daily gym use. I have been weight lifting for over 10 years now and I have used a variety of products for free weight lifting including gloves and other alternatives. However, the grip power pads are by far my favorite. These grips provide you more than just protection from sweat, skin break down, callus’s and irritations. The power grips help conform to any size and shape of hand to provide maximal grip and comfort. Furthermore, most lifters will feel increase grip strength… let me explain; because some of the bars in the gym are thinner in girth, this puts your hand grip in a mechanical disadvantage which is related to poor length tension relationship caused by a passive / active muscle insufficiency. However, with the use of the grip pads, not only I get better traction, it also directly increases the barbell/dumbbell grip diameter creating greater strength and power output. The only down side to the FOAM grip power pads is that they may potentially be slightly too thick for some hands; hence, it may not be the most optimal grip pads for everyone. However, the SPONGE grip power pads are universal and can accommodate all hand types and sizes.
